May 7, Monday, The Harding Builders Club is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on May 7th in the gym from 2:30-7pm. The Builders Club at Harding Middle School has focused its community outreach and fundraising efforts this year around the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society to support their effort in researching cures for blood cancer. KCL ADOPT-A-SPOT - Lakewood Park......John Mumma will be picking up the flowers in mid-May. Be sure to check out the daffodills that are now in bloom followed by the tulips. After the blooms fade it will be time for cleanup and then planting and pruning. John anticipates planting after Memorial Day (Monday, May 28). The garden should be in full bloom for the Summer Solstice on June 21st. Mark your calendar!

Community Meals!
Cove United Methodist Church, 12501 Lake Avenue – 3-4 volunteers needed the second Saturday each month. Please arrive by 4:00 P.M. for meal and helping package grocery bags.
Lakewood United Methodist Church, 15700 Detroit Avenue – 4 volunteers needed the fourth Tuesday of each month. Please arrive by 4:00 P.M.
Trinity Lutheran Church, 16400 Detroit Avenue – For all Community Meals arrive 45 minutes prior to these times: - 2nd Sunday – 4 P.M. 1st & 3rd Saturday – Noon - 1st Monday – 6 P.M.
