KCL ADOPT-A-SPOT - Lakewood Park - Kiwanis Garden......The Kiwanis Garden has been fully planted and bushes trimmed in preparation for the season of really beutifying the garden with full blooms.  The rains the past few days will take care of the watering for the near term, but John M. is putting together a list of those who will do the watering during the dry hot days of summer yet to come.  We need a few additional gardeners to help with the watering.  John has a everything you will need to help with the watering.  Contact John and let's be prepared to keep our Kiwanis Garden blooming until the colors of fall take over.  Contact John Mumma!

Many who attended the meeting June 5th commented, approvingly, on our two speakers and their telling about what's been going on at the Lakewood Erie Screw building housing the Templar Auto Museum.  Bruce Giberson who has brought outstanding speakers to our meetings has secured the Event Center space at the old Lake Erie Screw building for our August 7th lunch meeting which will be followed by a tour of the building and the Templar Auto Museum.  Details to follow.

Our children's book give away program is in dire need of a new home for working with and storing our books.
