Tim Mohr was honored at the Ohio District Mid-Year Education Day in Columbus on March 17. Ohio Governor, Dan Litzinger received four watches from Kiwanis Intl. President Jim Rockford to be awarded to those who helped form the new Heights Club. Tim and the others were rewarded for their outstanding work in opening the new club.

May 7, Monday, The Harding Builders Club is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on May 7th in their gym from 2:30-7pm. The Builders Club at Harding Middle School has focused its community outreach and fundraising efforts this year around the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society to support their effort in researching cures for blood cancer. KIWANIS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT
Cove United Methodist Church, 12501 Lake Avenue – 3-4 volunteers needed the second Saturday each month. Please arrive by 4:00 P.M. for meal and helping package grocery bags.
Lakewood United Methodist Church, 15700 Detroit Avenue – 4 volunteers needed the fourth Tuesday of each month. Please arrive by 4:00 P.M.
Trinity Lutheran Church, 16400 Detroit Avenue – For all Community Meals arrive 45 minutes prior to these times: - 2nd Sunday – 4 P.M. 1st & 3rd Saturday – Noon - 1st Monday – 6 P.M.
